Tara was born in St. Louis, Missouri with a passion for performing. She started singing and dancing at 2 years old. From then on, Tara was immersed in dance class and acting lessons everywhere her family moved.
In Houston Texas, Tara performed every season at the Pavilion Amphitheater for their annual Nutcracker performance.
After graduating High School with honors, Tara took a course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London and fell in love with Shakespeare.
Tara continued her studies in New York at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy under the Musical Theater degree. She finished her degree in Los Angeles, CA in TV/Film.
During this time, Tara fell in love with athletics. She has used running, swimming and biking to find peace during the chaos of the industry. This has served her well in acting and has been cast in many roles requiring her talents in fitness. She has run 4 marathons, is an Ironman Athlete and has podiumed in a few races as well.
While in LA, Tara joined, The Open Fist Theater Company; she performed in many productions including a World Premiere of, The Existents, Stage Door, and BOTH (A Beatles Nativity).
During the pandemic, Tara felt she needed to be back in the city that inspired her to pursue the arts. She moved back to New York City and has discovered that a fire has been re-lit inside her.
Tara continues to work in New York City and Los Angeles in both Film/TV and Theatre. She most recently starred as Tamora in “Titus Andronicus” finished filming a new feature, and completed a singing jingle for the Holidays in a National commercial.
2022 has much in store, and Tara has high hopes for the projects at hand.
